Restauri named Outstanding Museum Art Educator

Jennifer Restauri wins Outstanding Art Educator Award.The Stark Foundation announced today that Jennifer Restauri is the 2016 winner of the Texas Art Education Association Outstanding Art Educator Award, Museum Education Division for her significant contributions to TAEA and to art education in state, local and/or national level. Jennifer traveled to Dallas, Texas in November 2016 to the TAEA Award Ceremony.

Parades postponed, but still plenty to do in the OC

The Orange and Bridge City Parades have been postponed to next week due to weather, but there is still plenty to do this weekend to kick off the holiday season.

Toy CoffeeThe 60th annual Toy Coffee hosted by the Service League of Orange is Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016. The home of Chris and Micca Riedel, 2320 South Teal Road, Orange, Texas 77632 is the site for this year’s event. Decorated for the holidays, it is opened to the public for viewing 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost for admission to the home is a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary donation to help children in Orange have a Merry Christmas. Orange Salvation Army is the beneficiary of the Toy Coffee. You will also enjoy an elaborate array of refreshments after the tour.
