The Orange and Bridge City Parades have been postponed to next week due to weather, but there is still plenty to do this weekend to kick off the holiday season.
The 60th annual Toy Coffee hosted by the Service League of Orange is Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016. The home of Chris and Micca Riedel, 2320 South Teal Road, Orange, Texas 77632 is the site for this year’s event. Decorated for the holidays, it is opened to the public for viewing 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost for admission to the home is a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary donation to help children in Orange have a Merry Christmas. It is almost time for the Friends of the Orange Depot annual Gala Event this Saturday, 6;30-9:30 p.m. at the VFW. The event raises funds for the completion of the Orange Train Depot Restoration Project. This year, the theme is Denim and Diamonds. It will feature a silent and live auction, and live entertainment, featuring highlights from Nashville.
