The Stark Museum of Art is offering adults the opportunity to discover the joy of art-making in upcoming workshops just for them. The museum frequently hosts workshops and play days for youngsters to further art education. Now they are extending that educational opportunity to adults.
They invite you to meet local artists, connect with works of art on exhibit, and explore a variety of media and techniques through this workshop series just for adults.
A majority of paintings in the Stark Museum of Art’s current exhibition Branding the American West: Paintings and Films 1900-1950 are oil on canvas. Learn how to master this media in the adult studio workshop series on oil painting. This workshop’s special guest artist will be Elizabeth Fontenot. Artists of all skill levels are welcome, and classes have a low participant-to-guest-artist ratio with only 15 spaces available. This is a three session workshop held 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 20 and 27.
E-Tickets available for Watercolor and Clay.
