The Voice runner-up Jake Worthington headlines Crawfish Fest

Who is ready for some crawfish? … and great music? Wayne Toups and Jake Worthington will headline the concert series at the 37th annual Mauriceville Crawfish Festival April 21-23. The gates will open at 5 p.m. today at 7441 Cohenour Rd, Orange Texas, with Danny Dillon on stage. The festival runs through Sunday.

Jake Worthington was named “Runner-Up” on Season 6 of the hit NBC TV Show “The Voice.” Wayne Toups has been an area favorite for years.

36th annual Mauriceville Crawfish Festival

2016 Mauriceville Crawfish Festival is April 15-17. Homestyle Heroes Cajun Style! Opening Ceremonies will kick off on Friday night @ 5:00.

Saturday morning our 5K will begin at 8 with our “Hometown Heroes” parade immediately following @ 9:00 East down Hwy 12, turning South onto Hwy 62. At the festival grounds, live music, live demonstrations including a master’s gardener and chalk painting, craft and food vendors, a photo-contest, washer tournament, exotic species and whitetail display, silent auction including a full shoulder deer and full body duck mount, and many other activities will run throughout the day as well as Sunday. $7 all evening. 10 and under free everyday. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Family Fellowship Day (No alcohol)
$5.00 admission with canned goods
1:00  Wild Horse Ministry and Micah Tyler Band.
