Annual Orangefield Homecoming

The Annual Orangefield Homecoming is held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the 2nd Saturday in June in the Orangefield Elementary School cafeteria.

Barbecue, drinks and serving pieces are provided by the committee. Bring your favorite side dish, salad or dessert.

Make plans to come and visit. Each year there are “First-timers’ so bring your pictures and annuals and stay for fun and fellowship.

The Orangefield Cormier Museum will be open from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1-2 p.m. the day of the Homecoming celebration.

Shriner Dance celebrates Mardi Gras at VFW

The El Mina Shrine is hosting their 3rd annual Mardi Gras/Valentine’s Day dance, 7 p.m.-11, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

Na Na Sha from Gonzales, Louisiana will perform at the Orange VFW Hall 1 mile north of Interstate 10 on Texas 87. This is a new location for this dance.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased in advance by calling Pierre DeLaFosse-409-883-8568 or Mike Kelly-409-886-7729. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

BYOB. Setups and beer available on site.
